  11. Has anyone got any advice on how to set-up my computer to work with
  12. the USR Sportster modem?

  14. My problem is that once I connect, it's never very long until 
  15. the connection is lost.

  17. Modem Doctor software reports the UART 16550 is ok.
  18. I friend tested the modem on his system, no worries.

  20. If you have a set-up like mine, please send me your init string 
  21. and/or any clues from anyone?
